Surveillance Counter Measures
Targeted surveillance, especially against high-profile individuals, is an increasingly common threat. Whether adversaries use digital methods (mobile or PC malware, password enumeration/account takeover, SIM swapping), physical methods (geotrackers, hidden cameras or microphones, human observation), or both, we detect and prevent targeted surveillance. Strategic Intelligence
Most strategic intelligence or strategic forecasting today is based on the informed opinions of small groups of specialists with backgrounds in the subject or geographic area being examined. While this approach makes intuitive sense, recent research has shown that crowd-sourced forecasts from larger groups of informed, but not necessarily expert, individuals are more accurate than the expert opinion in many scenarios. Black Core Security takes a hybrid approach: We start with forecasts using prediction markets where individuals make initial forecasts. Our network of contracted experts then convert these base estimates into actionable intelligence using Monte Carlo simulations and statistical calibration.
Black Core Security uses this approach to provide strategic intelligence estimates for any subject area. Clients turn to us when they want accuracy based on probability and statistics and not just the informed qualitative opinions of subject matter experts.
